Ellie began her planning career in 2019, following her graduation from Newcastle University with a Master’s degree in Urban Planning, specialising in Regeneration. Following initial work with a small planning practice, Ellie worked as a Graduate Planner at Strutt & Parker in Cambridge from 2019-2022. Through her role as a Graduate Planner, she gained experience in a variety of areas, including: residential; agricultural; transport; and mixed-use development.

Through her planning career to-date, Ellie has had the opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects throughout East Anglia, including: primary, secondary, and post-16 education development; care home provision; and overseeing public consultations on large strategic sites.

On the 10^th of August Ellie passed her Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and became a chartered Member of the RTPI.
