Jamie

Principal Planner

Msc (Hons) MRTPI

Jamie started his planning career in 2017 and has a master’s degree in Planning, Policy and Practice from South Bank University. Jamie previously worked for Babergh & Mid Suffolk District Councils from 2017 to 2022, being promoted to Senior Development Management Officer. Through this role, Jamie gained experience in a variety of topics and activities, including: residential; commercial; mixed-use development; Planning Committees; enforcement; appeals; and local and national policy, as well as having a good local knowledge of the Suffolk county.

Jamie has an interest and enthusiasm in using technology to continuously find more efficient ways of working and has an open and positive approach to communication with stakeholders at all levels, which allows an understanding of interdisciplinary and complex issues and how to solve them.

Interestingly, Jamie’s passion for the urban realm and planning was born out of his love of Skateboarding, and he has set up a charity to support and grow the grassroots of Skateboarding in Suffolk.
