JBPL are very pleased to have been able to assist TruckEast relocate from their existing premises at Violet Hill Road, Stowmarket to the new commercial and employment site at Lawn Park Business Centre, Woolpit, which is located adjacent to the A14.
JBPL worked closely with the client, C-Squared Architects, and GH Bullards, to secure a delegated planning consent for the new, highly sustainable, purpose-built depot, at Lawn Park Business Centre, Woolpit. The permitted development now allows for a vehicle maintenance and service depot, which includes workshops of dealing with bodywork, accident and paint repairs for HGVs.
This was a Reserved Matters application which followed an earlier Outline consent allowing for Use Classes: B1, B2 or B8 on the site.
This positive outcome was aided by excellent communication and a positive working relationship with all involved, including: the applicants and their consultant team; the District and County Councils and their Officers; the involvement of local Parish Councils; as well as early engagement with the various stakeholders.
